Streaming gave us every song at once. Vinyl Player is for the ones you'd actually put on. Each album you play in Apple Music becomes a record pressed in its own colours. Hang the ones that matter on your wall, and play them one at a time, in a room made for listening.
Works with Apple Music, and Spotify on the Mac. No account, no tracking, nothing to sign up for.
A hundred million songs is a library.
The ones you keep coming back to are a collection.
Vinyl Player doesn't replace Apple Music. It sits on top of it. Your subscription, your library, your queue. It just changes how it feels to press play.
The wall holds music that means something to you and nothing else. Name the shelves. Move records between them. Take one down when you've stopped reaching for it.
A pressing that's yours, a needle that drops, and a room that brings the album to life around it. The small rituals that make listening an evening rather than a feed.
Where you listen matters as much as what. We built nostalgic rooms to experience your music in, each with its own light and atmosphere, and the record at the centre of it.

Not your whole library. The records you chose. Swipe up from the deck and the room opens onto sleeves on wooden ledges, sorted onto shelves you name: late night, Sunday morning, the ones your dad played.

Each album is pressed once, just for you. Its colours come from the cover and its pattern is cut so that no two records are alike, with grooves, a label and light on the surface. If a pressing doesn't feel right, re-press it until it does.
The Mac version isn't the phone app stretched to fit. Each one is its own app, built for where it lives.

On the Mac, Vinyl Player works with Apple Music and Spotify. On iPhone and Apple Watch it works with Apple Music.

The record on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with the needle's place on the album.
The same pressing spinning on your wrist. Tap to pause, turn the crown to skip. A complication shows what's on.
Your wall, your shelves and your pressings follow you between iPhone and Mac.
One app for iPhone and Mac, with an Apple Watch app included. It plays through the music you already have: Apple Music on every device, and Spotify too on the Mac.
